AT A GLANCE-
SBA Loans
Lowest rates on the market but lengthy application process.
What is this program, and how does it work?
Despite its name, the Small Business Administration is not the lender on an SBA loan. SBA loans are traditional bank loans with a traditional application process. What makes them unique is the lender’s low risk because repayment is guaranteed by the SBA. Because of this guarantee, SBA loans offer some of the lowest rates available anywhere, the maximums are higher (up to $5M), and repayment terms can range from 7-25 years.
